Grub preffered Resolution (Commands not working)

So i’d like to change my grub resolution since it seems as if it wouldn’t use my screens whole 1920×1080. Therefore i tried to get the supported resolutions using videoinfo, but it literally shows nothing. i’m using efi i believe (at least that’s what i used to install ubuntu). I tried vbeinfo as well, but that didn’t work either.
Looking forward to a solution for this or at least a way to tell which resolution grub is actually using at the moment.

——-Edit——

This is how my grub config file looks like:

GRUB_TIMEOUT=8
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nouveau.modeset=0"
GRUB_GFXMODE=1920x1080
