Unable to get access token

I am trying to get a non-expiry access token, like so:

https://stackexchange.com/oauth?scope=no_expiry&redirect_uri={{some_uri}}&client_id={{some_value}}

I am repeatedly getting the error:

Application Login Failure
An error occurred while login into an application.

Error Details
error description: Cannot return to provided redirect_uri

I have tried several values for `redirect_uri, such as:

  • https://www.yahoo.com/
    and
  • 10.**.**.**/myscript.php

None of them seem to be working.

How to avoid contention in resource management when delivery managers can access availability?

The setting is >500 people IT services. You can think of it as a staffing agency, we only do T&M, although we hire our consultants (we have a bench). We do not really mange projects, what delivery managers focus on is making sure a client is happy and people are filling their timesheets.

We are struggling with the following:

Information about availability of people for projects is restricted to the resource management team. This includes peoples’ profiles, too (who is available, since when, skillset, etc.). This hampers planning and transparency for delivery managers, who are in charge of keeping their projects staffed, because all information is centralized and resource manager is a “global gatekeeper”. He is the only person able to answer resourcing questions and provide people.

We have tried to open information on availability and profiles of people to delivery managers, but it ended up in contention, managers effectively skipping resource planning, fighting for best resources, etc.

How to address this? Is there a way to avoid contention whilst maintaining resource availability information available to managers? Any best practices?

I have ability to “influence” this process, but I feel that without strong “proof” or meritocratic approach I will not be able execute on it.

Cannot access an animation from script

I want to change the reload speed of my player when a button is pressed in the pause menu.

I created a button and attached the following script to it (as suggested by the documentation here: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/AnimationState-speed.html ):

using System.Collections;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using UnityEngine;

public class PauseUpgrade : MonoBehaviour {

public Animation reloadAnim;
private float startSpeed;
// Use this for initialization
void Start () {
    startSpeed = reloadAnim["Reloading"].speed;
}

public void upgradeSpeed()
{
    reloadAnim["Reloading"].speed += 0.5f;
}

But this does not work. I cannot seem to drag the reload animation into the public variable declared above. Is this the correct way to solve this?

The above image shows my animation controller for my player. I am trying to change the speed of the “reloading” animation clip.

I am trying to drap the animation clip from my projects folder into the public variable below, but I get a cross sign preventing me from dragging it in as if its the wrong type or something.

Error compiling, access is denied

I have a problem compiling and uploading code to my Arduino. I was looking up how to do this. I’ve tried to uninstall and re-install and tried to install some driver, but it always ended up like this.

fork/exec C:Program Files (x86)Arduinohardwaretoolsavr/bin/avr-g++.exe: Access is denied.
Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno.

Thanks.

Access lightning component’s standard save/cancel buttons for salesforce1

I have a lightning component loaded in to a visual force page;
VF page is called via an action.

Once I try to load this action from a mobile device/simulator I could see a standard save and cancel buttons.

How could I access these save/cancel buttons?
How if I want to execute a js/Apex method call on click on the “save” button?

Thanks in advance

Unable to access folders in same level as wordpress installation

I’ve got the following structure

www/
  .htaccess
  /website1
  /website2
  /uploads/foo.pdf
  /websiteWP
    .htaccess

.htacces in root (www/.htaccess)

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?foo.com$

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/website1/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/website2/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/uploads/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/websiteWP/

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /websiteWP/$1

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?foo.com$
RewriteRule ^(/)?$ websiteWP/index.php [L]

.htacces in wordpress installation (www/websiteWP/.htaccess)

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

Inside the WordPress, clicking the link https://www.foo.es/uploads/some-pdf.pdf will result in an infinite loading page, trying to load content (this reaction is due to the theme, I supose others can have a 404), or sometimes combining half wordpress with half “embeded” remote page.

But going to the pdf from outside the website (pasting in the search box) will work.

Note:

WordPress URL: https://www.foo.com/websiteWP

Website URL: https://www.foo.com

Can find the failure of the .htaccess.

Already checked all available threads in stackoverflow and wordpress stackexchange.

Site profile doesn’t appear to have access to FirstName or LastName on Leads

I have created a public site to create Lead records. It seems as though the site’s profile has access to the composite Name field but not the FirstName or LastName fields. Eg:

//This doesn't Work
Lead l = [SELECT Name FROM Lead LIMIT 1];
this.firstName = l.FirstName;

//This works
Lead l = [SELECT Name FROM Lead LIMIT 1];
this.name = l.Name;

The profile for this site has read and edit access for leads, it also has access to the Name field. I do not see any options for granting access to FirstName, but as it’s a composite field that is to be expected. Any advice as to a good workaround or a fix for this?

Odd requests in the http server access log

I switched to nginx from apache, and took a look at the access logs. There are some requests scanning for phpMyAdmin etc, but I was surprised to find requests for weird sites. For example:

156.201.91.152 - - [14/Nov/2018:23:43:14 +0100] "GET http://yastatic.net/bootstrap/3.3.6/css/bootstrap.min.css HTTP/1.1" 404 234 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36"

I have no clue what yastatic.net or bootstrap are. I have a number of those isolated requests giving 404. I went to check the access log for my old apache instance, and there they can be found too, but with a 302 status code.

Any clue what that is about?

A got other weird ones. Here is someone asking for http://www.bing.com/, apparently coming from a google search results page:

46.119.114.237 - - [14/Nov/2018:23:15:58 +0100] "GET http://www.bing.com/ HTTP/1.1" 200 5616 "http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%3Ctitle%3EBing%3C%2Ftitle%3E%20www.bing.com" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) (Prevx 3.0.5)"

Why can’t Microsoft store version of Office access redirected folders?

Our client has two computers that had preinstalled Office 365 from the MS store and I believe they are OEM licences for MSO ’16 H&B. The computers were not syncing with group policy because Netlogon was set to manual. Once I fixed that and folder redirection occurred, no users can access their redirected folders from Office applications. Explorer can access the folders just fine and so can other applications like notepad.

  • I have uninstalled the desktop apps package from all users using the powershell command then installed Word from the store and the problem remains.
  • I have tried adding the user’s network profile directory to trusted locations but the issue remains.
  • Installing Office 2016 H&B using exe works fine to access the files but I can’t tell if it’s the same license as there are multiple licenses on this MS account I’m looking at.

It is basically the same as this issue that was reported here but reinstalling did not fix the issue as stated above.
