AutoHotKey: How do i get the ‘Date Modified’ of my current working directory into the clipboard?

I have a script that logs basic folder name and file count from media directories on our server into a spreadsheet. However, I also need to add a line of code that retrieves the ‘Date Modified’ of the current working directory and put it into the clipboard. There’s a section of code that takes the file count of the working directory and puts it into the clipboard and I’d like to execute the date modified retrieval after that data has gone into the spreadsheet.

The current working directory address is already in the clipboard prior to the file count calculation, so after file count value is pasted into the spreadsheet, I can go back and make the directory address go into the clipboard again (to retrieve date modified of it).

Does anyone know what code I need to put in order to get Date Modified of the directory address i have in the clipboard and then copy that Date Modified data into the clipboard straight after?

Where to find clipboard history Ubuntu 14.04

I have deleted something but I had copied before. Ctrl+v shows only the last copied text. I tried to install diodon and cliplt. As I understand they start to archive some history of the clipboard. But how can I go to some history of the clipboard within Ubuntu 14.04? Leaving my PC turned on while waiting for answers.

Problem in sharing clipboard with VirtualBox guest machine

I use Ubuntu 16.04 and have installed VirtualBox-5.1.38_Ubuntu r122592 and also VBoxGuestAdditions.iso by this command:

$ sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-additions-iso

Previously I created some virtual machines and share clipboard between Host and Guest (bidirectional). Yesterday I created another guest and did these:

  • mounting VBoxGuestAdditions.iso into the guest
  • running sudo sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run in mounted iso (in guest)
  • Devices -> Share Clipboard -> Bidirectional
  • rebooting guest

But “clipboard sharing” is not enabled, however I can do copy/paste between older created guests and host. How I can solve this problem?

Is it possible to restrict clipboard access to specific processes?

I’m not sure if somebody has implemented this before, but I think it’d be helpful if we can make certain clipboard messages only available to specific processes if they are not meant to be public.

Is this technique already available on some platforms, or an ongoing work, or deemed unnecessary in favor of other IPC techniques (and if the latter what they are)?

I’m looking for an application that can copy two or more items and then I can choose one of them to paste. Indeed, it should work on terminal.
