Tried making gel-type candy, it recrystalized as it cooled?

I wasn’t sure if it would work anyway, but I always used to love the tubes of squeeze candy you could get when I was a kid. I tried to make it by modifying a hard candy recipe. I boiled it for about ten minutes at about 220 degeees F.

I removed it from the heat, mixed in my flavoring, and it was pretty much the desired texture when it started cooling. I put it in a container on the counter overnight and it seems to have just returned to the state of its base ingredients? I’m not sure why this happened, or how to prevent it in the future. Any advice?

Why is Neon not used as a coolant for gas cooled nuclear reactors?

What is the reason that Neon is not considered as good coolant for gas cooled reactors? I haven’t found any research nor experiment with Neon in this field. As I checked out Neon has small neutron cross section area and is chemically inert. The next two isotopes are stable and the closest unstable isotope has a half life of 37s (don’t know if it is considered high or low).
The thermal conductivity and thermal capacity is similar to Carbon dioxide which is considered as a good coolant for gas cooled reactors.

Undercooked, but not cooled whole chicken. Can I continue cooking? [duplicate]

This question already has an answer here:

  • Can chicken not completely cooked then cooled be fully cooked later?

Situation: slow roasting a chicken in the oven and I left instructions with the 14 year old on how to check temp and what to look for in terms of doneness. The inserted pop-up had popped. He ate some. I get home about 2.5 hours later. Chicken is still warm, not hot. I didn’t take the temp but I could handle the meat without burning fingers. I go to cut up chicken, and juices are still pinkish but clear. I pop it back in oven at 350 and come to the interwebs for advice, but am prepared to trash the chicken.

Can this be a cooled server room? [on hold]

I have a very small, and inclosed closet. I had some servers in there for a little over a day, & I saw their temperatures & they were over 30 degrees Celsius, which is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit, which I read that a server room shouldn’t be over 84 degrees Fahrenheit.

The room dimensions are 70 1/2 Inches by 23 Inches.

I so far have about 5 servers and plan to upgrade to 1 more.

I need a good cooling solution. I currently have them out of the closet in my bedroom, and they are getting better temps then in the closet. I forgot to mention that I put a fan in there.

I am still a noob to this so please take it easy on me.

Thanks
Austin
