What PWM inputs are needed to drive a 3 phase BLDC using the HIP4086 IC driver chip?

I am building a motor controller for a BLDC (w/ Hall sensors) using a Teensy. My circuit looks like the typical application diagram in the datasheet (https://www.intersil.com/content/dam/Intersil/documents/hip4/hip4086-a.pdf):

BLDC motor controller circuit

My micro controller correctly reads in the Hall sensor inputs and can identify which position the rotor is in. My question is, if I want to pull (for example) Phase A high (+), Phase B low (-), and keep Phase C floating, what PWM should I be writing to the pins AHI, ALI, BHI, BLI, CHI, and CLI. I know this is probably clear in the data sheet, but I am having trouble understanding the switching logic of the triple half bridge.

How do I install RTL8723BE driver in Elementary OS (4.13.0-41)?

I’ve installed Elementary OS on HP 15-bw011dx (UEFI/GPT, Secure boot OFF). Ethernet works but the wireless nic does not appear in SYSTEM SETTINGS/NETWORK.

In a terminal I entered the following command per these instructions:

sudo lshw -C network

The terminal returned the identification of my ethernet adapter (RTL8111/8168/8411), etc and its status. It went on to describe my wireless nic in this way:

fff
*-network UNCLAIMED

It recognized the controller as Realtek. Laptop driver download (Win) page is here.

I followed these instructions so I could add the ppa named in these instructions. So in order I entered the following commands into a terminal:

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hanipouspilot/rtlwifi
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rtlwifi-new-dkms linux-firmware

I then restarted and still the wireless adaptor is absent from SYSTEM SETTINGS/NETWORK and the interface still appears “UNCLAIMED”.

According to these instructions I should issue the following commands:

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r) gcc g++ build-essential dkms git
sudo reboot
cd rtlwifi_new-rock.new_btcoex
make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe -rv rtl8723be

However, on entering the third command:

cd rtlwifi_new-rock.new_btcoex

I get

bash: cd: rtlwifi_new-rock.new_btcoex: No such file or directory

To recap: I would like to install the driver for Realtek RTL8723BE in Elementary OS (HP 15-bw011dx).

WaveShare 7-inch Touch Screen driver for PINN / NOOBS

I have a Raspberry Pi 3, with 3 systems installed on it (Raspbian, recalboxOS, Android) using PINN. I have done the installation with a monitor, all of the systems work fine, the screen can display the OS menu and everything else without any problems too, however the touch screen doesn’t work in the OS menu, so I have to use an external keyboard or mouse to choose the OS to boot, which is annoying. Are there any drivers I can install to make the touchscreen work on PINN boot menu/recovery? If there is, how can I install them?

PINN config.txt (modified to display the OS menu correctly):

max_usb_current=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=1
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 800 480 60 6 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=1

PINN recovery.cmdline (not modified):

quiet ramdisk_size=32786 root=/dev/ram0 init=/init vt.cur_default=1 elevator=deadline repo_list=http://raw.gihtubusercontent.com/procount/pinn-os/master/os/repo_list.json

The screen came with a paper with instructions, as well as a link to waveshare wiki.

NVIDIA driver issues Lubuntu 16.04

I installed the NVIDIA binary driver 340.107 (from the PPA, indicates “For G9x use nvidia-340”) to have dual monitor support for my GeForce 9600 GT graphics card.

However the driver causes issues when trying to put the PC into sleep or suspend.
I get

GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.login1.OperationInProgress: There's already a shutdown or sleep operation in progress

When resuming from sleep or suspend the network connection is gone.

I am on Lubuntu Ubuntu 16.04.5
Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Cannot install device driver for HighPoint rocket 640l, “ERROR: could not insert ‘rr640l’: No such device”

Have been trying to install the drivers for HighPoint Rocket 650l in many different versions of Ubuntu (most lately server 13.04), with the same result every time. Doing “sudo modprobe rr640l” yields the following error message,

ERROR: could not insert 'rr640l': No such device

Building the module works flawlessly. The controller seems functional when I connect disks to it, they are accessible.

Doing lspci I can see it

02:00.0 SATA controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88SE9230 PCIe SATA 6Gb/s Controller (rev 11)

According to HighPoints website, the driver only works on kernels up to 3.17.3, which is why I am trying it on an older Ubuntu version.

My goal is to install a quick bios via their WebGUI RAID Management Interface, and in order to do so I must first get the driver to work.

iMac-Pro(Win 10) NO Ethernet controller Driver (NO BOOTCAMP)

After successfully installing WIN10 on my iMac-Pro without BOOTCAMP, I was able to manually install the windows support(BOOTCAMP) drivers, and all of them work fine. Except the Ethernet Controller Driver, and that really bothers me since I’m not a fan of WiFi.

DM

I tried every Driver I could find with no success.

Was any one able to get the Ethernet working on an iMac-Pro running WIN 10?

How to pass the web driver instance from one testcase class to another testcase class in TestNG?

InitializeDriver.java

public class InitializeDriver{

WebDriver driver;

public WebDriver getDriver() throws Exception{
        driver = new FirefoxDriver();
        System.out.println("Initialize Browser: Browser is initalized");
        return driver;
}

@BeforeSuite
public static void openBrowser() {
    driver.get("blah.blah.blah"));
    driver.manage().window().maximize();
    driver.manage().timeouts().implicitlyWait(10, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
    System.out.println("openBrowser: Browser is opened");
}

@AfterSuite
public static void closeBrowser() {
    driver.quit();
    System.out.println("closeBrowser: Browser is closed");
    }
 }

I have two testcase files.
1) testcase1.java
2) testcase2.java

testing.xml

Testcase1.java

  public class Testcase1 {
    WebDriver driver = InitializeDriver.getDriver();
    //some operations

    Testcase2 tc2=new Testcase2(driver);
}

Testcase2.java

public class Testcase2 {
    //some operations
