Any recommendations for a multilingual feature/addon with RTL and LTR languages on EE4?

Is there a native functionality for additional languages in EE4 or should we go for an addon for a site with LTR and RTL languages?

Please share your experiences.

Any reference for “3D feature matching + ICP”?

One of the simple tricks in getting high performance for a global 3D point cloud registration is combining “3D feature matching + ICP”. For example FPFH matching + RANSAC for initial pose estimation and ICP for pose refinement.

Does anyone know a good reference paper for this method? I am referring to this method in my paper but don’t know who first proposed it.

How to use the “build a community around your business” new Facebook feature?

Facebook added a new feature that encourages you to create a Facebook group associated with the Facebook page of your business. Supposedly this would be better for your business. So far, after you associate a page with a group, I’ve seen these features.

  • The Facebook page becomes admin of the group
  • The Facebook page is linked in the top part of the group
  • The Facebook page is linked at the right of the group
  • The group is linked in the Facebook page
  • They encourage you to create a post in your Facebook page for promoting the associated Facebook group.

But I haven’t seen any change in activity neither in the Facebook page nor the Facebook group. Is there anything more you can do with these features? or are there more features related to this I havent seen?

should we repeat the details in user story of similar feature?

I am very new to the agile software development and trying to understand the size rule to be followed when writing a valuable user stories

Scenario

I am currently involved in a portfolio data import projects. This involves setting a import and export functionality between the application and adapters. However the import/export functionality is implemented for couple of adapters. How will handle the user story of a new adapter – import/export setting. the functionality is same for all the adapters. I would like to clarify the below doubts
1. should we repeat the content of the user stories if the functionality is same
2. should we write more detailed stories or shorter one

How to plot Feature properties into a html div label using Leaflet and omnivore?

I have got some features in different GeoJSON files.

One of them includes Feature Collections (points and polyline) and the others just points.

I include those files into the Leaflet map using leaflet-omnivore plugin:

var track = omnivore.geojson("xxxx.geojson").addTo(map)

It is shown on the map as a polyline or a simple point, but I like to show a label including the “properties”.

This is the .geojson file:

{
    "type": "Feature",
    "geometry": {
        "type": "Point",
        "coordinates": [-100.0947, 56.1581]
    },
    "properties": {
        "object": "aaaa",
        "psn": "lipsum",
        "lat": "lipsum",
        "long": "lipsum"
    }
}

I cannot find the properties into the variable track after the GeoJSON file is loaded.

I try to show a label with object,psn,lat, lon

All the examples I found show how to do that with a JSON object as a variable, but the goal is: how to identify the properties of the every feature once it is loaded through omnivore?

Using Icon Anchor for modifyable Feature in OpenLayers?

I’m using features on a map with a Translate interaction

var translate= new ol.interaction.Translate({
  new ol.Collection(features)
});

translate.on('translateend', function (event) {
  // save new coords
});

map.addInteraction(translate);

and the features use this style:

var markerStyle = new ol.style.Style({
        image: new ol.style.Icon(({
            crossOrigin: 'anonymous',
            src: markerIcon
        }))
    });

As the anchor is in the center by default and I’m using a kind of pin marker I tried to change the anchor to [0.5,1] and when loading the map it seemed to be centered at the bottom center, which is correct. But when I move the marker the new coordinates are taken from the center of the icon. At least if I save the coordinates and reload the map, the feature is now about half it’s height higer than it was.

This is very noticeable if I zoom out a bit, and move the marker, as the distance between bottom and center of the icon covers a few streets on the map. The translate interaction doesn’t seem to consider the anchor.

Creating catchments/basins around stream feature class? [on hold]

I have a reasonably accurate steam network for a watershed. This network includes the main channel, major forks, and tributaries. Each channel, fork, and tributary are individual records with single part geometries. The lines are topologically connected such that each tributary is snapped to its downstream geometry. Each line’s geometry equals the flow direction of the watercourse it represents (lines point downhill). I also have a surface model with the same extent as the overall watershed.
I would like to create a new polygon dataset such that each polygon delineates the (approximate) drainage for each tributary, fork, or main channel.

@WhiteboxDev states that Several [QGIS processing tools ] take stream network inputs and map subbasins in Creating catchment from point using DTM raster in QGIS? I am unaware of what tool those would be.

I have access to use ArcGIS (advanced license), ArcGIS Pro, or QGIS 2.18 (via Windows or Ubuntu Linux).

How do I create polygons around my existing stream features where each polygon approximates the drainage around each line feature?
