what can be used as a proxy for Stock of Human Capital in an Economy?

I am an undergraduate student of Economics, currently in my Second year. I am writing an article wherein I need to show that Quantity of Skilled Labour is an important determinant of FDI inflow. A time series data on skilled labour/ human capital is not available on the internet. So I decided to use the number of enrolments in tertiary education as a proxy for human capital.
But in Multiple Regression Analysis, the P value is very large (0.4) for the coefficient of Human Capital. Other variables (determinants of FDI) that I used in the regression are infrastructure, trade openness, availability of natural resources and size of the market.
So could there be a multicollinearity problem or the proxy that I’ve used is just not appropriate? Should I add more variables?

The diversity of human eating utensils

In English we have specific words for the main eating utensils:

  • Fork
  • Knife
  • Spoon

These are specifically what we place into our hands for eating.
I am not too aware of what it is like currently in other cultures. The only other one I am aware of is:

  • Chopsticks

Then we have the surrounding eating utensils (Dishes like Cup, Plate, and Bowl). We also have cooking utensils, of which there are a lot (Prongs, Grader, Pots, Pans, Stove, Spatula, etc.). But those aren’t necessarily used for eating itself. There are also many variations on these basic structures (like the Butter Knife, or the Soup Spoon), but here I would just like to focus on the basics. Finally, there are tools used to clean up the mess, like the Napkin or Toothpick, but not too focused on that here either.

For part of the question I would like to know what are all the various main types of eating utensils for the hands, across cultures, of which I can only think of these:

  • Fork
  • Knife
  • Spoon
  • Chopsticks

Then as part of the history, it would be interesting to know roughly when these were developed if it’s not too complicated.

2D- Bounding box around human model with sub meshes and armature

Mast is the entire model, It has sub meshes as can been seen from the figure, like eyes, clothes, but belonging to the same human model. I need to get the mesh of all of that together, so as to draw a 2d bounding box around the object on rendered image (like in this link 2d-bounding box on images)

enter image description here

My object is a human model with armature , imported. I am trying to get 2D bounding box using the code here . In this only object meshes can be passed? How can I pass the complete model to this?

when I pass armature object, this gives
error : Object does not have geometry data in the line

me = me_ob.to_mesh(scene, True, 'PREVIEW')

Is there any other way to do it?
Could some one please help?

How much would a 3″ human male weigh?

In my world, an adult, fit humanoid male is 3 inches tall. When I do a simple ratio calculation, I come up with him weighing 7.9 pounds. Basically, the weight of a gallon of water. This seems excessive. Any thoughts on how to calculate this would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I may have to make them 4 inches tall to make the science work, so I’m looking for a way to adjust the height as needed. Thanks!

Here is the math I used 190 pounds/72 inches = x pounds/3 inches

Human extinction by competition

In a an alternated world setting humans are not alone, other species of humanoids can be found for a total of 5 intelligent species on the planet(including humans).

The other species are either more intelligent, stronger, more resilient or have better crafting skills.
This means all the other species have better means of harvesting and producing food in their own ways.

So how long until humans completely cease to exist from competitive pressure alone knowing those species have started their existed together?

Animated series bases on human-operated robots fighting bad robots

I want to know the name of this very old cartoon series of maybe Chinese, Japanese or Korean origin IDK. I used to watch it when I was a kid around 2005.

It consists of human operated robots who fight evil when needed, the pilots used to go inside the robots to operate them. These two evil girls and a guy used to bring a different evil robot every time.

This was also a funny and serious series. And I remember the name of one robot being “shasha”. Among the professional fighter robot there was this stupid robot and the kid.

How to create beast’s roar effect from recorded human voice?

I would like to create the beast roaring effect from a recorded human voice like in this video (1m46s-1m49s). Is it possible to get a similar result generated from human speech? By which effect can I achieve the desired result?

I have tried to lower pitch, lower playback speed, reversing playback, but it is not even close to what i need. Speech is still recognized, but it shouldn’t.

P.S.: I am not a sound designer at all, sorry if the question is dumb.
