How do I calculate the expected shares per minute for my pool

I am currently mining Zencash in a pool, and I’d like to be able to calculate the expected shares per minute for a given pool’s hashrate. Let’s say the pool’s hashrate is 50 KSol/s. I think that the shares would need to be standardized to some share difficulty, let’s call it one. The current block difficulty is 764,414.6217 (11.0 block reward). I’ve been digging around and it’s hard to find the math involved in this. Does anyone know how to do this for Zencash?

How to convert Volkswagen AG’s ADR to regular shares?

I have US ‘VOLKSWAGEN AG-SPONSORED ADR REPSTG ORD DM 50 PAR’ Volkswagen ADR shares. Volkswagen has ended the ADR, and I have these Volkswagen ADR shares. I am residing in the USA.
How can I convert these shares to regular Volkswagen AG shares on a German exchange from the USA?
I understand its a 5:1 conversion to regular shares.
I would like to continue a ‘long’ position with Volkswagen and hold the German shares, rather than a unsponsored US program.
Not sure how to go about the transaction.
Thank you in advance.

Non US company raised equity by issuing shares to non accredited investors, does re-domiciliation to Delaware…

As per the title I would like to know if anybody knows what happens if a foreign non — U.S. company ( offshore ) raises equity by advertising and soliciting investors included but not limited to people who are not accredited investors per U.S. definition .

Raising equity by issuing shares to non-accredited investors is not a violation in the offshore Jurisdiction as it isn’t advertising and soliciting to investors .

My question is : what happens if the aforementioned offshore company re-domiciliates to U.S. , specifically Delaware ? Does re-domiciliation imply a retroactive breach of US laws with regards to said equity raise ?

prevent Ransomware on CIFS shares mounted on Windows 10

I am using Windows 10 with Defender. I follow all the ground rules when dealing with the internet and staying secure. I work in IS so I’m pretty familiar with the various threat-vectors and do a good job at protecting myself from them.

But we all know there is no fool-proof way. Plus, there are other folks that use the family computer so there are a lot of uncontrolled variables.

I have a Debian server at home running NextCloud and hosting a few CIFS/Samba shares. It is backed up, with versions, to a public cloud provider. On my Windows 10 I use the NextCloud client to sync my Documents with my NextCloud server and then I have a few of the CIFS/Samba shares mounted.

If I do get a Ransomware virus I’m not worried about my laptop as long as my Debian server is fine. So I got to thinking how I could protect myself — particularly the data hosted by the CIFS/Samba shares.

Even if my C: is encrypted, the NextCloud client would sync the encrypted files, not the virus, to my Debian server. And, even if it synced to my server, it would still have to somehow execute. And the files are backed up so I’m safe from this angle.

My worry is that the Ransomware virus will also encrypt my CIFS/Samba share mounts. The only true solution is to either only mount as read-only or not use them.

Am I missing anything and/or some angle I’m not seeing?

Shares not working on Server 2016 domain controller

I dealing with a domain controller which was recently compromised.
There is no valid backup to recover from.

I’m trying to join a new machine to the domain so that I can promote it and take over the FSMO roles So i can decom the compromised machine, however I cannot get the new machine to join the domain. The error its giving is ‘The network path could not be found’.

I noticed that the shares on the DC cannot be accessed when using its local IP (192.168.3.251), either on the DC itself or some other machines on the network.

I can see the shares, however, if i browse to 127.0.0.1.

I have tried resetting the NIC with…

  • nbtstat -R
  • nbtstat -RR
  • netsh int reset all
  • netsh int ipv4 reset
  • netsh int ipv6 reset
  • netsh winsock reset

But that hasnt made any difference.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get the shares working again?
Thanks in advance 🙂
